DomDomSoft Manga Downloader version 1.8.1 release
Sorry, recently I was so busy. I couldn’t add new features that someone requested. But I will try my best to add them in the next two weeks.
DomDomSoft Manga Downloader version 1.8.1 is the maintenance version and I also add one small feature.
You can define how many times the software will automatic retry if it has problems. This feature prevents the software stuck because missing file/page.
Please report errors and request new features by commenting here.

I’ve been having some bugginess with the program for both 1.8 and 1.8.1 versions.
When I used 1.8 the program would process the manga requests and read the pages, but wouldn’t start the download.
After the upgrade to 1.8.1 the program would say it was downloading my requests like normal, but would just not download any of the pages in each file.

You don’t say anything about manga site, what manga and chapter that you downloaded, so i can’t help.
If it’s OneManga, do you live in VietNam and use Viettel?

i just download version 1.8.1 ..
can it work on vista ??

Hey Dom/Huy, the problem hits requests for all of the sites. I was initially trying to download Ubell Blatt (all chaps) from mangahut, but when that didn’t work, I tried using both the other sites, and it still didn’t work. Then I tried downloading a doujin called Bathtime on mangahut, and that didn’t work. Then I just deleted my copy of the program and downloaded a fresh copy, configured the file settings and entered the license, and retried the downloads, which didn’t work.
And, I don’t live in Vietnam. I live in the US.

Oh, but I and another people don’t have this problem, so that’s not the program’s bug.
Do you have changed the Windows system recently? Such as services etc…?
Do you use Yahoo Chat? I will online at 9:00 AM

I haven’t changed my OS in the last 3 years (using XP)…
Thanks for the appointment offer, but I think I’ll just hold off from trying to fix it right now because I’m busy. I’ll probably take you up on the offer if the problem persists in 2 months

I cleaned up the program data and the registry, and did another re-install of the program and it now works!
Still, the program gave me a timeout error when I tried to download Gretel from MangaHut.

Maybe MangaHut’s overload, or your internet connection has some problem at that time.
I will add MangaToshokan to the program soon, so you have more alternative.

Nếu đc anh có thể thiết kế thêm Manga reader(tựa như vuilen.com + zoom + bookmarks pages) thì quá tuyệt + autostart with Windows + multi rename(thực ra cái này em không cần lắm vì Total Commander cũng đã có tính năng này nhưng khá ít người dùng cái này) + final check(kiểm tra lại thư mục so sánh với database xem thiếu đủ thế nào rồi report) + Languages option (Chỉnh sang thứ tiếng khác, cái này chắc dễ làm thôi) + send feedback (gửi phản hồi về tác giả, đơn giản hơn là cứ phải vào forum) ….
BTW phần mềm quá hay, nếu có thời gian em sẽ donate tại chưa có tài khoản ở Bank. Mà anh có recruit thêm chân gia công phần mềm với tester ko vậy anh? năm nay em mới vào HV CN BCVT cũng CNTT nên nếu đc luyện tập làm soft thì tốt quá. Kể cả chân Description translater cũng đc
PS: bài Trust U của Gundam 00 công nhận quá tuyệt, cả bài Opening của season 1 cũng hay nữa, bộ 00 này ăn đứt SEED. Oài ước gì đc lái một chú Exia như trong film nhỉ? ^^

- Vụ recruit lấy gì trả lương em ơi, vì thực ra doanh số bán đc của DomDomSoft Manga Downloader cũng không nhiều lắm.
