scrolling is smoother than before, but it’s still weird. (Sorry to disappoint you). I’ve been thinking, could you just CUT the scrolling part of the program which has the best scrolling (ver 1.7.5) and then PASTE it to the new version ?? (hahaha, it’s not that easy , right?) anyway, it’s just only a suggestion. Thanks for the regular update.

So sorry but the list in version 1.7.5 is different with version 2.0.x (in version 2.0.x I must redraw it so I can show the bookmark manga with different color).
I plan to use another control but they are not good in performance.
Thanks for your feedbacks

Ah can i ask you this…? Why do you want to use Classic Theme
Default theme of Windows XP is better. This problem could be cause by the classic theme of Windows XP that you use, maybe it’s too old. (Classic theme of Windows XP SP 2 that I used, Windows Vista Classic theme, Windows 7 Classic theme haven’t any problems).

why?? maybe it’s because i only have classic theme. hahaha. i don’t really like windows actually(to be honest). i’m planning to change my os to linux …. hahaha
does your program work on win98? i still have it, with unofficial service pack …

Oh my god, do not use win98, it’s too old.
If you want to use Linux, you can use this to run the software http://mono-project.com/Main_Page

the redraw thing, i think that cause the problem …
maybe if you put the bookmark on other place, the list should be normal again ?

Yes, but put the bookmark highlight in the list is very convenient, so I should not remove it.

In windows explorer, I tried to highlighted some item, then scrolled the list. It’s Normal….
Maybe if you can adapt the scrolling part of windows explorer to your program, it’s awesome .. haha just imagining things. it’s not that easy, is it? anyway, i’m very gratefull you tried to improve your software this far.

The scrolling is strange on any theme – custom, default, classic, and windows Media Center’s theme – even on Windows 7 ultimate. It’s not the theme.. it’s the listbox control I think.

When download from Mangahut, there is some manga that have file name like this: 0.jpg, 1.jpg, 2.jpg, …, 10.jpg, 11.jpg…
When I use comic reader software to read (like ComicRack or PicWalker), it read in the order 0.jpg -> 1.jpg -> 10.jpg -> 11.jpg -> …-> 19.jpg -> 2.jpg -> 20.jpg -> 3.jpg -> 4.jpg….
eg: chapter 45 of Umi no Misaki: http://mangahut.com/manga/m=zlRg/umi_no_misaki/045/pg1
Can you do something about it?

Yeah yeah I know, someone already told me about this. And I planned to add the rename feature in version 2.1
(eg: rename “1.jpg” to “001.jpg”…)

Hey Huy,
This is probably not the right place to mention this, but it looks like you took down the promotion post so I’ll say it anyway.
I recommended your downloader for a post at Manga Underground. http://www.mydailymanga.com/2009/10/14/dom-dom-soft-mangadownloader/
Just wanted to let you know so it doesn’t surprise you later.

Thanks so much
I took down the promotion because no one want to do it

Any chance in the near future of your product being ported to mac? I have difficulty finding and downloading manga as easily as this software does, however if something came around for mac I would not hesitate to purchase.

Could you perhaps be a bit more clear on this? The site is not exactly user friendly and I am at a loss for understanding how this framework would allow a .exe (manga downloader) to run on macOSX.

I don’t have MAC OS to test, so please try this:
Download Mono for Mac OS:
http://www.go-mono.com/mono-downloads/download.html
or here: http://ftp.novell.com/pub/mono/archive/2.4.2.3/macos-10-universal/6/MonoFramework-2.4.2.3_6.macos10.novell.universal.dmg
Install it then try to run the software
Please let me know the result.
I can’t download from mangatoshokan. The program says it’s completed but there is no file in the folder.
