Sadly I have not found any good site to replace MangaHut yet.
What’s new in version 2.3.1?
1/ Bugs fixed.
2/ Press Esc key to exit Manga’s information dialogs.
3/ More power off options:

4/ New online manga reader: (just beta, current improvement)

Hi,
After updating to this version and downloading a chapter with it, I closed the program and get an error report (I didn’t pay attention then so I have no idea what was that error). After that, I just can’t open manga downloader anymore!!! I tried downloading the previous version, but still no go.
I’m using WinXP SP3.

It’s so weird that you could not used even previous versions.
Did you try to restart the computer?

Yay for pressing Esc to close info window!!
Also love the manga reader, but it takes a while to load ALL the pages.. could there be an option to load them one at a time and just press next to get the next one? Most times I won’y even look at all of them so it just ends up being wasted bandwidth (for me and the site they come from)

You mean “Loading pages”, NOT “loading images”, right?
Now it only cost you time to load first chapter, then the program will preload next chapter when you read first chapter.
I will think about another way to speed up this process, and “Loading pages” cost you very less of BW, believe me
Thanks.

This problem maybe caused by your network.
If your data file is quite old, please download version 2.3.1, replace the old Data\MangaToshokanData file with the new one.

I think there is a naming problem in the manga reader. I think that since the images are preloaded shouldn’t it be called an Offline Manga Reader rather than Online? I could be wrong of course

No, the name is right. Explain:
When you read manga in onemanga or mangafox etc… by Firefox, IE. Your browser download the images to temporary files, so you can see it. And we call it “read online” because we do not actually save it.
Online Manga Reader is quite like that
so we call it “online”

Thanks for the explanation
