DomDomSoft Manga Downloader version 2.4.6 release
This is a maintenance release. We recommend that all users running prior versions of DomDomSoft Manga Downloader upgrade to benefit from bug fixes and stability improvements.
Details:
- “Advance filter – Search in all sites” bug and some minor bugs fixed.
- Improve manga list performance. Thanks matrixik for the hint.
Please report errors and request new features by commenting here (please provide information such as website name, chapters name, manga name etc. if you report errors).
What’s new in version 2.4.5?
1/ Bugs fixed.
2/ Add “Download all” (chapters) and “Read online” to quick menu, you do not need to go through Manga Information dialog if you don’t want to.
3/ “Don’t show this again” check box in close confirm dialogs.
4/ Show all bookmarks and quick menu in Bookmark Manager dialog.

hey Hyus, check this one http://comingsoon.mangasaurus.com/ it’s still “Coming Site” but it will be the base of the Old Staff from Mangahut (90% uploader will comeback in that site). and oh… i forgot, mangahut.com is back, as you can see, Kaiten (The old Faggot Admin) still there, forgot it ….

um, a little advice for you maybe ^^
i think it’s the best thing if you make a documentation web page for every changes, so other ppl will feel easier to know what the changes from older version to the newer.
well, i write this beacuse i think domdom has a lot of updates and some ppl would want to know what the changes. i know you have wrote all the changes but it’s a pain that we must check each page.
for example my friend had domdom 2.0.8 and he wants to know all the detail what the changes from 2.4.5 . he opened your blog and cant find your older post from 2.0.8 ,what he could find is from 2.2.x and too hard for checking each page T_T
so i think it will be a wise choice if you make a documentation page and on that page you will only post the changes for each version even it’s just a minor ^^

um, i just tried this version, and it seems that i cant scroll down the manga automaticly when i press some keyboard buttons
i mean, for example on onemanga list when i want to find manga named C.A.T without scrolling the bar i ussualy press “c” key on the keyboard and the cursor will automaticly on the C.A.T manga
now in this version it can’t do that again T_T. did i do something wrong? ( i just copied the list of manga from previuous version to this version ,is it the cause?)

No it’s not your fault, because the list in new version is different.
I will add this feature later.
Hi from Italy .
I have a problem with this version .
When reach the end of the bookmark checking it crash .
The previous version don0t have this issue .

It’s quite hard to figure out this problem, did it crash 100%? did it crash immediatly after checking bookmark completed?
When it crashes did you do anything else (eg: check manga information, download etc…)?

Please try to update to version 2.4.7!
Having a big problem. I moved the program to drive D: and it worked fine. But now when it runs the auto-update to 2.4.6, it shuts down the program, then runs the DomDomSoft Updater saying “Status: Extracting 2.4.5.zip …” Then when it gets to 100 percent, theres a notice saying “Failed to extract files.” Now, when i click ok on that notice, it just keeps coming back, so in the end i had to go to Ctrl+alt+delete to close it from there. If I install a fresh one, then I think all my 40+ bookmarks will be gone.

Oh wow, when I run the program FROM Drive C:\, it works. Wonder if I have to move the program from D: to C: every single time there’s an update.

- This problem is not relate to C:\ or D:\
- You must sure that you close all instance of DDS before update.
- I dont have enough info to figure it out, but if you install fresh one, you dont have to lose all data. Just copy old “Config” folder and overwrite the new one.

umm can i suggest something? maybe you could change the begin date with DD-MM-YY format, so when we sort the manga we can get the newest and oldest, just opinion though

is on the domdom interface
manga, state,queue, . . .
in the last is “Begin Date”
the format of the “Begin Date” is
MM/DD/YYYY
it is what he meant
in 1 digit day the “Begin Date” is written like this:
5/7/2010
but on the 2 digits day the “Begin Date” is written like this:
5/10/2010
it will make little difficult when order from the real begin date, the 5/10/2010 will come first (at top) than 5/7/2010
errr i’ll try make this order for view to make more understandable

Okay thanks for making it clear, I will fix this in version 2.4.8 or 2.5
If it’s not too time consuming or too much work, adding an option to remove a manga from bookmarks from the huge list would be great (so I don’t have to scroll down my 50+ bookmarks to find the manga i want to unbookmark since there’s no search option there). But it’s no big deal so keep working on this program, I love it.

- Queue is used when you want to download some manga first, and some manga later, you want all bandwidth is used for some manga first…

i just want confirm something, well it’s a bug or not, i don’t quite understand well
well i don’t remember well the chapter of manga i download, especially manga that really long update each chapter (irregular one)
and i also zip my download after the download finish
but when i re-download (means download the chapter again that i already have :p)
the zip file have double chapter inside
maybe you can make the domdom check the availability of the data before download (like IDM (you know this :p) asking want to replace or bla bla

Please take Onemanga off this software. Onemanga is taking out pages of manga and censoring. If you do not want to then would you please put (censored) next to their name on the manga list so people will know that content is missing.

i have been try to install it
but it was did not work, the application is crash- suddenly appear caution box it say;
the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135).Click on Ok to terminate the application.
i didn’t know the cause?
could you tell me why it happen. and the solution?
