I think it means that the website you are trying to download from no longer has any chapters of that manga.

Okay, I got a big problem (for me at least)
I’m downloading Btooom! from Batoto, however It has ridiculously huge watermarks on every page, making it unreadable.
This isn’t a problem with the program though, It’s the greedy idiots at japanzai, wanting to direct all traffic to batoto to maximize their profits from scanning, whilst calling all other online reader sites “parasites” Ironic in a way considering how they are also making money off other people’s hard work (the mangaka)
Anyways, they say that if you view on Batoto using firefox the watermarks won’t appear.
Would it be possible to add something to DDS so batoto thinks you’re viewing it with firefox or something so it doesn’t have the watermarks? They also have this extension thing for google chrome to remove it, maybe you can work something from that?
This would also help remove watermarks from the other series japanzai does.
reading/downloading directly isn’t an option for me since I’m running the program on dial up, so each page would take 5+ minutes to load, which would ruin the reading experience and take forever to save each page manually.

I face the same problem..
Seems like they use a GIF animation that will switch to a second image without the watermark after the image was loaded. So any image viewer that does not support GIF animation with displayed the watermarked image…

They are also using APNG (animated PNG).
If you download from Batoto, you’ll get the full files. Then you have to figure out which ones are renamed GIFs and which ones are APNG. In the first case, you only have to rename to GIF, open Photoshop and delete the watermarked layer. In the second case, get apng2gif_gui and convert to GIF, then repeat the above in photoshop.
I don’t know if DDS will be able to do this.

I did the same thing except that I use preview in Mac OSX to delete the watermarked first page. and use the script with apng2gif CLI to convert *.png – The one that doesn’t resulting in .gif because of error means that it just need to be renamed.

Dear god, that’s a lot of work just for 1 chapter
Call me lazy if you want :P
I unfortunately don’t have photoshop either.
I guess the only way I can read this is to get an image viewer that can display gif and apng images or spend about 15 minutes doing this every time there is a release.
I really hope that DDS can be patched to fix this.

Hello, I’m having a pretty big problem with the software today. I can’t download any manga from any website. Every single chapter of something I try to download brings up a dialogue box that says:
Could not find a part of the path ‘Name of Manga’. (Make Directory)
followed by a dialogue that says:
Directory isn’t exist!
Also, when I try to change something in the options and click “OK” to save, it brings up a dialogue that says:
Invalid save location!
I hope the issue can be fixed quickly. Thank you.

Please, disregard the above comment. I thought the issue had to do with the DomDom software itself. It is my mistake; the problem has to do with the extra hard drives on my computer. It is my error, not the software at all. DomDom is working fine.

Hi,
I’d like to request some feature, first is about dividing task feature, the current one divide the task by number, I think it would be nice if there are customizable dividing, so the user can divide it by volume.
Second one is about adding feature to filter the number of chapter, well I don’t mean to precisely about it, i know that your program will update the number of chapter while checking before the user download it, I mean it would be nice if we can filter manga by one shot manga and not one shot manga, one shot only has one chapter so filtering it while using advance filter will be great.

Just want to ask; when I update the MangaFox manga list, why did the new series don’t appear?
Just like today, I saw a new manga series on MangaFox called “Gaia kitan”, and even after I update the manga list, it didn’t appear on the list.
Do I need to add it manually?
(it’s not like this is the first time I get the same problem, and usually I add it manually on “MangaFoxData” file)
